General/Family Dentist

Family Dentist needed for an established practice with three locations in Maryland.

Experience in Pediatric Dentistry preferred.

Responsibilities of Family Dentist:

  • Completes routine and comprehensive oral examinations.
  • Maintains the quality of dental care.
  • Delivers fillings, sealants, etc.
  • Diagnoses dental disease, oral pathology, and develops a treatment plan and prioritizes treatments.
  • Provides ongoing dental education.
  • Is thorough in documenting all interventions done with/on behalf of the patient
  • Oversees the dental hygienist and the dental assistant on duty.
  • Consults on the purchase of dental equipment.
  • Works in tandem with the other member of the health care team to ensure best practices in the delivery of dental services and the other services offered at Mary’s Center.
  • Treats patient with moderate to severe dental infections on an emergency basis.

All providers are committed to team work and rely on each other to provide excellent and quality healthcare to their patients. They work out of one office and admit to one neighboring regional hospital.
